   I see, already getting negative thumbs^^ Apparently that was to harsh. No, of course germans have great (and distinctive) culture as well, I was referring more to contemporary cultural music. Because frankly, our “Volksmusik” sucks, you can’t deny that. Plus, it isn’t even historical, so the term is a bit confusing here.

    Hope you are not being sarcastic hudson0815–that would just be sad. I am an American of 3/4 Irish and 1/4 German heritage. That is why I like to drink Guinness on a strict schedule. Seriously, both places have a great culture and music.
