I’ll be in the city of Cincinnati for the week of St. Patrick’s day. I was wondering what activities Cincinnati has for St. Patrick’s day. Is St. Patrick’s day a big deal in Cincinnati? Do they plan any major events. Where I live, St. Patrick’s day isn’t much of a deal but since I will be in Cincy, I was wondering if anything fun goes on that I may want to check out while on my trip to Cincinnati.
Definitely not a big thing in Cincinnati. We’re traditionally of German decent in Cincinnati, which means that we have a great Oktoberfest instead. Here is a link to downtown Cincinnati’s official website showing a few activities. Please note, most take place inside of Irish bars, so its not a lot different than you’d find anyplace else that doesnt get real worked up about it (although they still would be fun to go to) => http://downtowncincinnati.com/saintpatrick
